Incentive Programs

Lane County is offering financial grants to residents who are interested in making landscaping or structural improvements to their properties, which can increase the survivability of their home in the event of a wildfire. Residents can qualify for up to $15,500 to replace wood shake roofs with non-combustible ones, installation of fire-resistant siding and windows and thinning or pruning of vegetation to create a defensible space around the property.

To find out more information on this program or apply for a grant visit the Firewise Lane County Firewise Incentive Program website.
